I’m Sharla, the human behind Lanora Ronee Photography, and I know the questions that come up before booking a shoot like this. It’s a mix of excitement, nerves, and “what the actual f*ck do I expect?”
That’s where this blog comes in. These are the top 12 questions I get from almost every woman who books with me: answered in a way that’s actually helpful when you’re a visual person. Consider this your prep guide for stepping into the LRP experience, so when you’re ready, you know exactly what you’re walking into.

Nope. Period. Your photos are yours, always. Privacy is a big deal here, and nothing gets shown anywhere without your say-so. When we do your reveal session, you’ll decide what (if anything) you’re comfortable with me sharing. Some babes give me a full release, some say “absolutely not,” and plenty fall somewhere in between.
Bottom line: you’re in control. Whether these images stay locked down just for you (or your partner’s eyes only), or you decide you want to show them off to the world, that call is 100% yours. Every single photo you see on my site is from a client who has signed a full release, or from one of our brand ambassadors.

Absolutely. I never want money to be the thing that stops you from doing this. Here’s how it works with me:
Whether you need monthly or bi-weekly payments, I’ve got you. I set it up for you, and you’re ready to go!
Hell yes, it is. The whole point is for you to show up and feel taken care of from the minute you walk in.
Our pro hair + makeup artists are absolute magic and know exactly how to get you camera-ready without making you feel like someone else. You’ll get a prep guide ahead of time with simple tips to make sure your skin + hair are ready, and then we handle the rest. This isn’t just about looking good: it’s about giving yourself permission to be spoiled before we even start shooting.

I’m not here to turn you into a plastic, airbrushed version of yourself: you’re already enough exactly as you are. Here’s what that means:

Girl… the options are endless. Don’t overthink it.
For budget-friendly finds, places like Shein, Amazon, or Fashion Nova are solid. Lots of variety, cheap enough to grab a few different looks without stressing. Even Target + Walmart can surprise you with some cute lingerie and bodysuits, and doooon’t sleep on Ross + TJ Maxx.
If you’re feeling fancy, there are luxury brands like Agent Provocateur, La Perla, Fleur of England, Bordelle, Thistle & Spire (SUPER plus-size friendly), Savage X Fenty (Also amazing for plus size) or Honey Birdette (runs a little small) that are basically lingerie art pieces. Totally not required, but definitely fun if you want to splurge.
And honestly? You don’t even have to shop at all if you don’t want to. My client closet is fully stocked with unique pieces in sizes S–4XL. I rotate my client closet constantly, so nothing ever feels overused. I’ve got so much lingerie that some pieces literally sit for a year or more before they even make it out on the rack. Plus, I double-sanitize everything in my washer/dryer at home. Most items get worn maybe 2–3 times total, and I still have pieces from 6+ years ago that look brand new. End od day? I hoard lingerie like it’s my job, so trust me, you’re not putting on something that’s been around the block a hundred times. And that means I’ll 100% have something that works for you, no matter your style or body type. So whether you roll in with a bag full of your own picks or just borrow from me, you’re covered.
Honestly? A whole lot of badass, high-quality shit that you’re going to want to touch, hold, and keep forever. I work with some of the best fine-art labs out there who specialize in boudoir, so everything is luxe, durable, and designed to last a lifetime (not sit in a drawer gathering dust). Here’s what you can get your hands on:
And honestly? That’s just the start. I’m always adding new options to keep things fresh, so there’s “a lot f*ckin’ more” where that came from.

Absofuckinlutely. Nearly every collection includes your high-res digital files, because I know not everyone wants a physical keepsake. If you’d rather keep your images stored digitally, that’s totally an option.
And here’s the extra fun part: I also create private mobile apps. Think of it as a little secret photo gallery right on your phone, downloaded just like any other app. It’s discreet and perfect if you want to share with your partner (or just keep your favorites at your fingertips).
Nope. You don’t have to wear lingerie at all.
Some of my favorite sessions have been done in oversized sweaters, ripped jeans, leather jackets, bedsheets, or nothing at all. It’s not about lace and straps: it’s about whatever makes you feel like you.
So if lingerie’s your thing, bring it. If it’s not, skip it. Either way, we’ll make it work and it’ll still look hot.

Short answer? You will be. Everybody is. And that’s okay.
I’ve been doing this for years, and I can tell you with 100% certainty that almost every single client walks in thinking: “I’m awkward, I don’t know how to pose, I’m going to hate how I look in these.” You’re not unique for feeling that way; you’re human.
Here’s the thing though: boudoir isn’t about you magically knowing how to model. It’s about trusting me to guide you, and trusting yourself to be ready for the change you’re about to undergo. You don’t have to come in with a single idea of what to do with your hands, your face, your legs. Nothing. That’s my job.
I’ll show you exactly where to sit, how to arch, where to look. I’ll literally demonstrate poses with you and adjust the tiniest details so you don’t have to think. I’ll tell you where to put your hair, when to breathe, when to relax your shoulders. It’s like having a coach and a hype woman all at once. Don’t believe me? Check out the reviews in our VIP group, and eventually I’ll get this updated with some reels of me guiding with posing.
And yeah, I’m not gonna lie to you lol. You’ll feel awkward + self-conscious AF at first. Everyone does. But give it 10 minutes and you’ll forget the nerves because you’ll start to see it: how good you look, how powerful it feels. That’s the shift, and it happens every single session.
I’m also building out a behind-the-scenes reel so you can actually watch me directing poses in real time. You’ll see real clients (not always models) being guided step by step, so you know before you ever walk in that you don’t have to figure this out on your own.
Bottom line: feeling nervous doesn’t mean you can’t do this. It just means you’re normal. By the end, you won’t be thinking about your nerves. You’ll be wondering why you didn’t do this sooner.

I get it. You might feel like you’ll need backup. But here’s the deal: boudoir works best when it’s just you and me, albeit I may have a studio assistant present during your session for posing, BTS (when you’ve released it), or just general set assistance. The whole point is for you to focus on yourself without worrying about what anyone else is thinking.
That said, if you want your partner involved? Hell yes, we can do that. I offer couples sessions that are designed exactly for that kind of connection and energy.
And if you’d rather experience this with your bestie by your side, then a Babes Day event is where you want to be. Babes Days are group-style community hang-out experiences: multiple women, a fun theme, and a chance to hype each other up while still getting your own solo shoot.
So for a private boudoir session, it’s solo. But if you’re craving that “with someone else” energy, I’ve got options for both directions.
It depends on what you book.
From there, once you’ve made your selections, the final edits are usually ready in about 1-2 weeks, albeit based on schedule it can be up to 30 days. Any keepsakes you order (albums, prints, etc.) are placed right after that unless you’re on a post-session payment plan, and I personally check every piece when it arrives to make sure it meets my perfectionist standards before it ever leaves my hands.

Our studio is tucked right into downtown Fort Worth, less than 5 minutes from I-30 and about 10 minutes west of I-35.
We shoot inside a gorgeous house that’s all ours, so you’ve got privacy the whole time you’re here. Inside you’ll find 10 unique sets (and counting) that we rotate and refresh, so no two sessions ever look the same. It’s private, it’s stunning, and it’s designed to feel like your own space the second you walk in.
